The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional-level certification in the PADI system. It equips divers with the skills and knowledge to lead certified scuba divers, conduct PADI ReActivate™ scuba refresher courses, guide snorkeling activities, and engage in ocean conservation efforts.

Learning Components

The course combines independent study and practical application:

• Independent Study: Begin with PADI eLearning® to cover self-study materials at your own pace.
• Practical Application: Work closely with a PADI Instructor at a dive shop to apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Prerequisites

Before enrolling, ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification: Hold a PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent).
• Experience: Have logged a minimum of 40 dives to start the course and 60 dives to earn certification.
• ** Aid Training**: Completed Emergency First Response® Primary and Secondary Care training within the past 24 months.
• Medical Clearance: Obtain a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months, confirming fitness for diving.
