Open Water Diver (SSI)

The SSI Open Water Diver course is an internationally recognized entry-level certification designed to equip beginners with the essential skills and knowledge for safe and enjoyable scuba diving. Upon completion, certified divers can plan and conduct dives with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) without direct supervision.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the SSI Open Water Diver course, participants must:

  • Minimum Age: 10 years old.
  • Swimming Skills: Be able to swim 200 meters without aids or 300 meters with mask, fins, and snorkel.
  • Physical Health: Be in good physical health and complete a medical questionnaire.

Course Structure
